摘要: Clofazimine (CFZ), a riminophenazine derivative and crucial drug in the treatment of lepromatous leprosy, has been reintroduced clinically to treat multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. CFZ holds both antimycobacterial anti-inflammatory properties. But, due its highly hydrophobic, polar photosensitive nature, it is challenging extract quantify from different biological fluids pharmaceutical formulations. This also hampered pharmacokinetic evaluation CFZ. article accentuates various analytical methods viz.
