摘要: Objectives: This study evaluates trends in disability-free life expectancy (DFLE) of Chinese adults aged 60 and older. Methods: Based on two national disability surveys 1987 2006 as well mortality data from World Population Prospects, the Sullivan method was used to calculate DFLE. Results: DFLE increased 13.0 13.9 years at age 1.2 1.5 90 in1987 2006, respectively. The proportion after 75. DLEx with severe decreased while that least increased. Onset delayed 0.3 4.7 across types. Conclusions: Trends by severity onset provide evidence for compression morbidity among oldest old China. But a similar trend not found young-old.
