摘要: Heat pumps are a promising technology for heating (and cooling) domestic buildings that provide exceptionally high efficiencies compared with fossil fuel combustion. There in the region of billion heat use world-wide, but despite their maturity they relatively new to many regions. This article gives an overview state-of-the-art technologies and practical issues faced when installing operating them. It focuses on performance obtained real-world operation, surveying published efficiency figures hundreds air source ground (ASHP GSHP), presenting method relate these results from recent UK German field trials. also covers commercial aspects technologies, typical savings primary energy usage, carbon dioxide emissions abatement can be realised, wider implications uptake.
