摘要: An overall prevalence of 3.9% Trichinella infection was observed in the fox population Netherlands. Random amplified polymorphic DNA analysis individual muscle larvae demonstrated presence britovi. This is first report T. britovi, etiological agent sylvatic trichinellosis, one most densely populated countries Europe and, consequently, occurrence cannibalism and scavenger behavior foxes areas with a high human density. The britovi these appears to be without consequences for commercial pig farming.
