摘要: Abstract The solar desiccant cooling system (SDCS) had a saving potential of the year-round primary energy consumption as compared to conventional air-conditioning for full fresh air application in subtropical Hong Kong. In order further enhance its efficiency, advancement basic SDCS was carried out through strategy hybrid design. Six alternatives were therefore proposed, three design while another return building zone. Year-round performance evaluation each conducted typical office under different climatic and loading conditions. All six found technically feasible, with up 35.2% against systems. Among alternatives, recommendations made on hybridized vapour compression refrigeration design; absorption design, since they potentials both initial cost. These two used evacuated tubes, more economical type collectors PV or PVT panels.
