摘要: Background The aim was to compare outcome measures of refractive error by the Plusoptix S08 photorefractor with obtained retinoscopy and cycloretinoscopy in children. Method The right eye 144 non-strabismic children, aged 2.5 5.5 years, determined photorefraction, cycloretinoscopy. Agreement between (spherical error, cylindrical spherical equivalent) three techniques were tested Bland–Altman limits agreement. Results The mean difference for equivalent results photorefraction (Pse) minus those (Rse) (CRse) +0.53 ± 0.62 D -0.22 0.75 D, respectively. The 95 per cent agreement ±1.22 D (range -0.69 +1.75) ±1.47 D -1.69 +1.25), (Pc) (Rc) Pc (CRc) +0.11 0.39 D +0.13 0.44 D, Rc CRc ±0.76 D -0.65 +0.87) ±0.86 D -0.73 +0.99), standard deviation weighted axes difference, comparing 0.25 0.36 0.29 0.51. Eighty-two findings show a within 1.00 D. Regarding power, this percentage is 96.6 cent. Conclusion As demonstrate fairly good consistency Photorefractor without using cycloplegic agents cycloretinoscopy, accurate tool estimate errors children limited working range instrument.
