Are human-factors people really so different?: comparisons of interpersonal behavior and implications for design teams

摘要: Abstract:This study examined differences between human-factors and machinefactors computer professionals in self-reports of their interpersonal behaviors. Three hundred eleven completed an instrument describing jobs three categories behavior—Dominance, Friendliness, Task versus Socio-Emotional. Human-factors described ideal actual behavior as more dominant than that other professionals. No were found for the two dimensions. on average involved with research while machine-oriented product development. The findings are discussed respect to importance system design teams. It is suggested factors may affect utilization experts.
