摘要: Abstract Brain tumors exhibit marked and aberrant blood vessel formation indicating angiogenic endothelial cells as a potential target for brain tumor treatment. The vessels are used nutrient delivery, possibly cancer cell migration. process of angiogenesis is complex involves multiple players. current inhibitors in clinical trials mostly single proteins so far show limited effects on growth. Besides the conventional inhibitors, RNA-based such small-interfering RNAs (siRNAs) being analyzed their capacity to silence message involved neovascularization. More recently, new family non-coding RNAs, named angiomirs [microRNAs (miRNAs) angiogenesis] has emerged. These small have advantage over siRNAs that they silencing messages at same time therefore might become therapeutically relevant "one-hit multiple-target" context against angiogenesis. In this review we will discuss emerging technologies anti-angiogenesis emphasizing therapeutics.
