摘要: Abstract Objective: aim was to obtain elements for a differential diagnosis between post-radiation fibrosis and residual tumor or local relapse in anal canal cancer through detection of presence/absence intralesional blood flow. Transrectal ultrasound color Doppler were compared. Methods: 43 patients underwent transrectal sonography before after therapy assess flow pattern (spotty linear signals). All diagnostic imaging results compared histological analysis. Specificity submitted statistical analysis using McNemar test. Results: 34 lesions (79%) showed signal; no signal 9 (21%), which excluded from our Eighteen the considered, presented complete response therapy, 14 partial two response. After disappeared 17 (94%); one false-positive (6%) spotty signals; 16 changed signal. Color higher specificity than grey scale differentiation tumor. Response confirmed by examination, considered gold standard. test demonstrated significance ( P Conclusion: considerably increases differentiating cancer.
