摘要: Deep cuts in carbon emissions to avoid dangerous climatic change will require fundamental transformations of the energy and transport systems. This is an enormous challenge for society political system. In order tackle this challenge, we argue that it be necessary develop new institutions institutional practices address give priority long-term climate policy objectives. paper focus on three innovations field governance system are guided by such visions. Institutional reforms at national level arguably progressive cases (the Netherlands, UK Sweden) studied concerning their relevance governing transitions towards low-carbon societies.
