摘要: Conventional uncemented femoral implants provide dependable long-term fixation in patients with a wide range of functional requirements. Yet challenges associated proximal-distal dimensional mismatch, preservation bone stock, and minimally invasive approaches have led to exploration into alternative implant designs. Short stem designs focusing on stable metaphyseal fit emerged address these issues total hip replacement (THR). Uncemented metaphyseal-engaging short are proximal remodeling closer the metaphysis when compared conventional stems they also comparable clinical performances. can meet goals successful THR, including tolerating high level patient function, as well durable fixation.
