摘要: The aim of the present study is evaluation graphene oxide (GhO) as adsorbent material for removal beta-blockers (pharmaceutical compounds) in aqueous solutions. composition and morphology prepared materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Atenolol (ATL) propranolol (PRO) used model drug molecules their behavior investigated terms GhO dosage, contact time, temperature pH. Adsorption mechanisms proposed pH-effect curves after adsorption discussed. kinetic GhO-drugs system was analyzed fitting to pseudo-first -second order equations. equilibrium data fitted Langmuir, Freundlich Langmuir-Freundlich calculating maximum capacity (67 116 mg/g PRO ATL (25 °C), respectively). effect on tested carrying out experiments at three different temperatures (25, 45, 65 °C). Then, thermodynamic parameters enthalpy, free energy entropy calculated. Finally, desorption drugs from evaluated using both eluants (pH2-10) organic solvents.
