摘要: Plasma motions in the gaps between successive red cells narrow-capillary blood flow are obtained an idealized model, using a series of eigenfunctions to represent disturbance basic Poiseuille created by cells. The is matched, narrow entry and exit regions, lubrication constricted zone around cell (Fitz-Gerald 1969). Basically, circulating toroidal motion predicted Prothero & Burton (1961) reference frame which considered stationary. Small secondary circulations also found near axis close cells, whose intensity controlled amount leakback past Zones high shear along capillary wall some cases on part red-cell face; implications this for mass transport discussed (see §4). Because unusual behaviour slowest-decaying dominant eigenfunction circulation increase as spacing decreases, contrary expectation, until becomes very small indeed.
