摘要: In subjects with chronic renal disease, levels of free 17-hydroxycorticosteroids (17-OHCS) in plasma were measured at 8 a.m. and normal. Conjugated elevated, correlating inversely endogenous creatinine clearance (Clcr.). After standard infusions cortisol, decayed exponentially but more slowly than normal, while conjugated rose further normal subjects. Conjugated, not free, 17-OHCS again correlated Clcr. Cortisol was partially identified the fraction tetrahydrocortisol tetrahydrocortisone following infusion. Urinary excretion increment after infusion less directly A patient anasarca provided an exception to noted patterns correlations. acute failure, elevated did decline onset diuresis fell parallel blood urea.
