摘要: Abstract In eddy-current separation, forces are exerted on non-ferrous metal particles to separate these metals from solid material mixtures. These depend the magnetic field inducing eddy currents as well electric conductivity and shapes sizes of particles. The present paper provides model calculations in a vertical separator. A quality factor was developed by which configuration systems can be optimized. also used design rotating disc separators. both separation fields produced permanent magnets. validity tested measurement forces.
