摘要: Recent years have seen a consistent trend in the extension of 2D auxetic models towards 3D ones. This article introduces linkage structure by extending double arrowhead honeycomb to an intersecting structure. A geometrical analysis on basis rigid linkages with rotational joints shows that auxeticity is manifested all three orthogonal planes. Results reveal geometry, terms either relative lengths or half angles, can be changed substantially control Poisson's ratio. It herein suggested functionally graded beams and plates exhibit gradual change ratio from negative positive, as well solids opposing trends different planes, are easily achievable printing using structure, further mechanistic performed.
