摘要: Palaemon macrodactylus, an exotic shrimp native to the northwest Pacific Ocean, has been recorded in many estuaries along Atlantic coast of Europe since late 1990’s. In this study, a regular monthly survey, held 1992 middle section Gironde estuary, revealed species’ rapid and full colonization system its appearance samples during summer 1998. Gironde, population P. macrodactylus is self-sustaining species now established there. Our study highlights two important elements that might explain successful colonization: ability quickly invade niche under-exploited by similar greater reproductive output. The species’spatio-temporal distribution relation environmental variables was studied compared with longirostris. shown mainly inhabit polyhaline mesohaline which are sections generally females species. Furthermore, fecundity analysis larval abundance survey results higher potential proportion larvae juvenile stages for natural environment.
