Modeling Web Logs to Enhance the Analysis of Web Usage Data

摘要: Web log files store data related to the use of a website. Analyzing these in detail is therefore crucial for improving user browsing experience. However, usually are stored flat different formats which hinders their analysis, thus obliging specific analysis tools. In this context, approaches structuring better analyze them highly required. To aim, paper we propose metamodel order unify features every available format at same time that unnecessary technical details omitted. This supports design models regardless files. A set guidelines have been also proposed define multidimensional schema warehouse from our model be used advanced tools such as OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) or mining enhance usage by means
