摘要: In the last years treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) was carried out using regulators brain signaling systems. DM2 level serotonin is reduced. So far, effect increase on DM2-induced metabolic and hormonal abnormalities has been studied scarcely. The present work undertaken with aim filling this gap. induced in male rats by 150-day high-fat diet low dose streptozotocin (25 mg/kg) 70th day experiment. From 90th day, diabetic received for two months intranasal (IS) at a daily 20 g/rat. IS decreased body weight, improved glucose tolerance, insulin-induced utilization, lipid metabolism. Besides, it restored regulation adenylyl cyclase (AC) activity hypothalamus normalized AC stimulation β-adrenergic agonists myocardium. nondiabetic same alterations, some which were similar to those but expressed lesser extent. conclusion, elevation may be regarded as an effective approach treat its complications.
