Family cohesion and a father's warmth are related to the positive lifestyles of female university students

摘要: Abstract One of the main strategies that healthy universities implement among their students is promoting lifestyles. However, behind these lifestyles, there may be some aspects related to family functioning favour or limit its implementation. Consequently, objective this study establish whether a relationship between lifestyles and cohesion, ethnic socialization affective behaviour father mother. A cross-sectional was conducted with representative sample 159 female university from an indigenous area Oaxaca, Mexico. The Healthy Lifestyle Scale for University Students, Self-Assessment Affective Behaviour (with regard mother) Family Cohesion were used. revealed significant interrelationship in all groups. scores higher Although moderate hostility did not show any either group, groups than mestizo group. multivariate analysis confirmed better when cohesion greater warmth observed.
