摘要: Abstract Phylogeographic inference has provided extensive insight into the relative roles of geographical isolation and ecological processes during evolutionary radiations. However, importance cross-lineage admixture in facilitating adaptive radiations is increasingly being recognised, suggested as a main cause phylogenetic uncertainty. In this study, we used double digest RADseq protocol to provide high resolution (~4 Million bp) nuclear phylogeny Delphininae. Phylogenetic group been especially intractable, likely because it experienced recent species radiation. We carried out reticulation analyses, tested for several sources potential bias determining phylogenies from genome sampling data. assessed divergence time historical demography T. truncatus aduncus by sequencing comparing with reference genome. Our results suggest monophyly genus Tursiops, recently proposed australis falling within lineage. also show presence gene flow between pelagic European coastal ecotypes truncatus, well early stages diversification spotted (Stenella frontalis; Stenella attenuata), spinner longirostris), striped coeruleoalba), common (Delphinus delphis), Fraser’s (Lagenodelphis hosei) dolphins. study suggests that more complex than previously thought. context biogeography local habitat dependence, these improve our understanding history
