摘要: The "gusher" is a dramatic complication of stapes surgery. smallest control hole in the foot plate can produce flow perilymph (cerebrospinal fluid) so profuse as to fill middle ear and external auditory canal within seconds. What origin this abnormal communication between perilymphatic subarachnoid spaces? purpose paper to: (1) Review experience others with spontaneous cerebrospinal otorrhea general particular. (2) Present clinical investigation which some new evidence be set forth communication. (3) Propose plan for investigating entity on large scale basis.
