Modeling and calculation of impact friction caused by corner contact in gear transmission

摘要: Corner contact in gear pair causes vibration and noise, which has attracted many attentions. However, teeth errors deformation make it difficulty to determine the point situated at corner study mechanism of impact friction current researches. Based on contact, process is divided into two stages scratch, calculation model including equivalent error—combined established along line action. According distributive law, error synthesized by base pitch error, normal backlash tooth profile modification The combined compliance first lying before path inversed action, basis theory engagement curve synthetic & load-history. Combined secondarily with deflection, position standard probed. Then positions forces, from beginning end during path, are calculated accurately. Due above results, lash founded, force frictional coefficient quantified. A numerical example performed averaged based presented method validated. This research obtains results could be referenced understand complex quantitative coefficient, exact design for tribology.
