摘要: Physical activity can help people to prevent numerous physical and mental health conditions, yet most Americans do not meet recommended levels of activity. Some built environment attributes are associated with higher activity. Youths, adults, older adults living in mixed-use communities walkable destinations more total than their counterparts residential-only neighborhoods. Comprehensive interventions that include environmental changes, education, other components have increased active transport schools overall use bicycles cities. Living close parks, trails, recreation facilities is related greater recreational activity. Adding or improving may be enough lead use. Activity programs marketing also needed. Access facilities, quality safety pedestrian aesthetics poorer areas mostly low-income racial ethnic minority populations.
