摘要: The measurement of absorptance is important for the analysis and modelling laser-material interactions. Unfortunately, most data presently available considers only polished pure metals rather than commercially (unpolished, oxidised) alloys, which are actually being processed in manufacturing. This paper presents results measurements carried out at room temperature on as-received engineering grade steels including hot cold rolled mild steel stainless various types. were made using an integrating sphere with Nd:YLF laser two wavelengths (1053 527 nm, means that also valid Nd:YAG radiation 1064 532 nm). obtained differ considerably from existing polished, should help improve accuracy interaction models. Some clear trends identified; all materials studied, was higher previously published values relevant surfaces. For 15 samples green infrared wavelength. No trend correlating roughness found range Sa 0.4-5.6 μm. A correlation between noted above 1.5
