摘要: OF DISSERTATION ASSESSING SELF-EFFICACY CULTURAL COMPETENCE WITH LESBIAN, GAY, AND BISEXUAL CLIENTS: A COMPARISON TRAINING METHODS GRADUATE SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS Graduate social work students are mandated to be cultural competent with lesbian, gay, and bisexual (LGB) clients. This exploratory study examined how best teach graduate culturally in working LGB clients by assessing their perceived competence of attitudes, knowledge skills as well demonstrated through case vignettes. The compared a current pedagogical method infusing material across the curricula two types brief trainings (didactic lecture experiential). mixed methods utilized pretest/posttest design examine effects qualitative responses from participants. Results offer suggestions which approach might most effective helping gain for individuals.
