摘要: The analysis of the seismic vulnerability urban centres has received a great attention in last century, due to progressive concentration buildings metropolitan areas. In order estimate densely populated area, it would principle be necessary develop in-depth analyses for predicting dynamic behaviour individual and their structural aggregation when subjected expected earthquake. Furthermore, correctly soil structure interaction, reliable geological data each site should available. These detailed analyses, however, are extremely cost-intensive, require processing time expertise judgement. aim present study is propose new methodology able combine information tools coming from different scientific fields reproduce effects input areas, with known features, entity damages caused on existing buildings. particular, we an agent-based model earthquake dynamics, based Self-Organized Criticality framework, evaluate sequence events certain large area during given interval time. integration GIS sets, concerning both about territory Avola (Italy), allows performing parametric these real context. proposed approach could very useful estimating defining planning strategies risk reduction
