摘要: This paper presents the results of experimental studies to examine propagation fault ruptures with particular concern on dip-slip fault. The pattern rupture through a sandy soil and location surface were investigated. distortion ground accompanied by has been examined as well. 1-g model tests showed that varied depending thickness due strongly dilatant behavior sand under low confinement. However, increase confinement at centrifuge models provided no definite variation against change thickness, which suggested importance interpretation about from small scale sandbox test.
