Testing of a Causal Model: Acceptance of Death in Hospice Patients

摘要: This survey study examined a proposed causal model of acceptance death, through chart review and interviews sixty-nine home hospice patients, their primary caregivers, staff. Path analysis revealed an overall significant effect the model, explaining 23 percent variance in dependent variable planning for death. Patient values was found to have direct upon Spirituality negatively related death anxiety positively social support. Age had spirituality, with older patients having higher level spirituality.
