摘要: To compare fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) and T2-weighted magnetic resonance (MR) imaging in small animal patients with suspected brain disease, paired sets of FLAIR MR images 116 dogs cats were reviewed separately without any patient information. Images rated as normal or abnormal using a five-point scale, the distribution, signal intensity, anatomic location abnormalities recorded. In 60 animals, both normal. 50 same identified images. Overall, very good agreement was found between (kappa = 0.88). had that not recognized corresponding six examinations (5%). four these, thought to represent pathology, including granulomatous meningoencephalitis one dog, postictal edema undiagnosed lesions two dogs. remaining examinations, probably artifacts.
