摘要: Core-level spectra of the Mn-doped ${\text{Sr}}_{3}{\text{Ru}}_{2}{\text{O}}_{7}$ and ${\text{Sr}}_{n+1}{\text{Ru}}_{n}{\text{O}}_{3n+1}$ ($n=1$, 2, 3) crystals are investigated with x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Doping Mn to considerably affects distribution core-level spectral weight. The satellite $\text{Ru}\text{ }3d$ core levels exhibits a substantial change doping, indicating an enhanced electron localization across doping-induced metal-insulator transition. However, }3p$ remain identical thus showing no sign multiple Ru valences. In 3), similar, that chemical bonding environment around ions remains same for different layered compounds. While $\text{Sr}\text{ shallow shift higher binding energy increasing $n$, suggesting their participation in Sr-O structural evolution.
