摘要: Object The efficacy and pitfalls of endovascular recanalization were evaluated in cases internal carotid artery (ICA) occlusion the subacute to chronic stage. Methods Fourteen (15 lesions) symptomatic ICA with hemodynamic compromise or recurrent symptoms treated at stage using an technique. Parodi embolic protection system was used during procedure prevent stroke by reversing flow from distal common artery. Results Recanalization occluded possible 14 15 lesions. points 10 cervical ICAs 4 petrous/cavernous successfully recanalized cases. Ischemic disappeared completely after treatment, new ischemic did not appear related lesion.
