摘要: Insects comprise some 60% of all known species (1), many which are genetically heterogeneous, with considerable genome subdivision and divergence (2). They contribute massively to the biodiversity planet, hence its ecosystems mankind’s agriculture health. In seeking understand this diversity it is important remember that insect families have been diverging for 300 My, producing millions expanded contracted their ranges in response changing geological, climatic biotic conditions. Those lineages survived form today’s will genetic architectures moulded by these changes, impose differences population size, dispersal, mutation natural selection.
