Parametric Downconversion II — The Twins Grow Up

摘要: I present a personal account of the research and activities Leonard Mandel his students in 1990’s. In that final decade, Professor Mandel’s group expanded use parametric downconversion to explore foundations quantum mechanics, building upon techniques which he had pioneered 1980’s. The investigations operational phase reached their conclusion, experiments continued atomic resonance fluorescence. At end new collaborations led spin squeezing, homodyne detection, pulsed downconversion.
