摘要: Amphiphilic cyclodextrins (CDs) modified in the upper rim with thiohexyl groups and lower oligoethylene amino (SC6NH2) or hydroxyl (SC6OH) can bind gold colloids, yielding Au/CD particles an average hydrodynamic radius (RH) of 2 25 nm water solution. The systems were investigated by UV−vis, quasi-elastic light scattering, FTIR-ATR techniques. concentration amphiphiles was kept above colloids to afford complete covering. In case SC6NH2, basic conditions (Et3N, pH 11) yield promptly decoration Au, which be stabilized linkage CD and/or thioether groups. critical aggregation SC6NH2 measured (∼4 μM) surface tension measurements, pointing out that about 50% CDs are present nonaggregated form. Whereas Au/SC6NH2 stable size morphology for at least one month, Au/SC6OH system increases remarkably, forming nanoaggregates 20 8...
