摘要: This paper presents a variable deflection control of fiber glass composite plate system using shape memory alloy (SMA) actuators. The technique on changing the camber needs to be developed as it is most investigated approach morphing. Gradual changes along span can create controllable twisting plate. necessary change pursued either by reconfiguration underlying structure or smart composite. In this proposed platform, strain gauges are used measure in single cantilever mode while nickel titanium (NiTi) Shape Memory Alloy wires actuators actuate plate, which controlled Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller. research six were placed at different location plate: tip, mid and root part From experimental result, was found that had highest value input from gauge located there produced best performance compared those tip
