摘要: Application of wireless technologies in the smart home is dealt with by pointing out advantages and limitations available approaches for solution heterogeneous coexisting problems related to distributed monitoring inhabitants. Some hot challenges facing exploitation noninvasive devices user behavior are then addressed application fields power management elderly people chosen as representative cases where estimation activities improves potential location-aware services home. The problem localization considered great care minimize invasiveness system. Wireless architectures reviewed discussed flexible transparent tools toward paradigm a totally automatic/autonomic environment. With respect state-of-the-art solutions, our proposed architecture based also on existing exploits, an opportunistic way, characteristics signals estimate presence, movements, behaviors inhabitants, reducing system complexity costs. Selected examples from real implementations presented give some insight solutions envisaging possible future trends.
