摘要: Abstract Purified ferredoxin has been shown to inhibit reactions mediated by the flavoprotein ferredoxin-NADP reductase. Ferredoxin inhibits transfer of electrons from NADPH ferricyanide (diaphorase activity) NAD (transhydrogenase) and photoreduction pyridine nucleotides during Hill reaction. On basis kinetics inhibition, it is suggested that two binding sites for substrates. At one site enzyme binds at other NADP or NAD. competing with substrates both sites. proper concentrations, can be photoreduced isolated chloroplasts a rate 50 µmoles per mg chlorophyll hour. Since conventional methods have lost part reductase might appreciable rates in vivo.
