Preparation and characterization of uniform nanocrystalline prismatic SnO2 particles

摘要: Abstract The preparation of nanosize prismatic SnO 2 particles fairly narrow size distribution by forced hydrolysis at 100°C acidic SnCl 4 solutions is described. are monocrystalline, with cassiterite structure having the c axis parallel to their longest dimension. thickness nanocrystals was evaluated infrared spectroscopy. Thermogravimetric study has shown that sintering starts temperatures several hundred degrees lower than conventional microcrystalline powders.
