Refractive interstellar scintillation of pulsar intensities at 74 MHz

摘要: Results of daily observations the flux nine pulsars made with a large phased-array at 74 MHz from January 24, 1989 for 400 d are presented. Modulation indices and time scales estimated variations. The results only in partial agreement variability expected refractive interstellar scintillation. observed modulation above expectations simple Kolmogorov model plasma turbulence, particularly nearby moderate levels scattering. These reasonable earlier observations, but disagree recent measurements 610 by Kaspi & Stinebring (1992).
