摘要: The Mg II h&k lines are powerful diagnostics for studying the solar chromosphere. They have become particularly popular with launch of IRIS satellite, and a number studies that include these lead to great progress in understanding chromospheric heating, many cases thanks support from 3D MHD simulations. In this study we utilize another approach analyze observations: non-LTE inversions UV triplet including effects partial redistribution. Our inversion code attempts construct model atmosphere is compatible observed spectra. We assessed capabilities limitations using FALC snapshot radiation-MHD simulation. find allow reconstructing middle photosphere transition region. also explored multi-line/multi-atom setup, h&k, Ca 854.2 nm Fe I 630.25 recover full stratification physical parameters, magnetic field vector, Finally, present first spectra quiet-Sun, plage sunspot, very promising results.
