摘要: Large virtual 3D scenes play a major role in growing number of applications, systems, and technologies to effectively communicate complex spatial information. Their web-based provision, particular on mobile devices, represents key challenge for system application development. In contrast approaches based streaming scene data clients, our approach splits rendering into two processes: A server process is responsible real-time panoramas, represented by G-buffer cube maps, requested camera setting. The client reconstruction uses these maps reconstruct the allows users operate interact with that representation. properties this include (a) complexity transmitted not depend scene's complexity; (b) can take place within controlled a-priori known environment; (c) crucial model never leaves (d) clients flexibly extend map viewer adding both local models specialized operations.
