摘要: Abstract High-speed photography has been employed to study the mechanism of boiling crisis in pool saturated water at high heat fluxes. Three configurations have examined: normal free on a heated 10-mm dia. horizontal copper disc and same system subjected interference flat plate short tube held above disc. The is clarified both by qualitative observations fluid behavior an analysis based experimental facts. It concluded that phenomenon related intermittent vapor masses consumption liquid film which builds up surface. Previous theories ot transition are discussed relation revealed present study.
