摘要: The interactive exchange and translation of data between heterogeneuus computer systems depend not only on hardware op ersting-system characteristics, But also the proprietary format im- posed by software maintaining it. For functionally com- parable systems, we present a syntax-driven methodology based environment grammars. Environment gram- mars are related to two-level grammars attribute grammars, they lend themselves spedflcatbn parameterized language classes such as those formed in different formats. Under certain constraints can be parsed efiiently. We dis- cuss these constraints, demonstrate use for re- lational data, design translator hetero- geneous relational database management systems. A prototype this has been implemented used relations be- tween remote INGRES, Framis, Sibyl
