Experimental investigation on carbon cluster structure

摘要: Photofragmentation of carbon cluster ions, produced by a pulsed classical laser ablation source, have been investigated measuring the depletion isolated ion packet as function photodissociation fluence. The experiment has performed for C 16 + to 36 irradiated at first second harmonic YAG laser, and in step third harmonic. comparison between curves obtained from two experiments leads us speculate on presence least or three valence isomers displaying different stabilities.
