摘要: The article directs attention to county planning in exurbia. Through a case study of small, unincorporated community the foothills northern California, research examines as flexible process that revisited zoning several times its general plan update, eventually redefining and recodifying this exurban space working landscape. Using concept “creative law breaking,” shows by publicly threatening defy unreasonable land-use restrictions, activists provided useful information planners about diversity hybrid nature communities.
