摘要: Abstract The oxygen-deficient Ruddlesden–Popper (RP) phase Sr 3 Mn 2 O 6 crystallizes with an ordered array of oxygen vacancies to afford a structure in which the 3+ ions exist square-pyramidal environment. MnO 5 polyhedra are linked through their corners form that is related observed for single-layered material, 3.5 . nuclear and magnetic structures polycrystalline sample have been determined using Rietveld analysis neutron powder diffraction data electron techniques. pure double-layered superstructure simple RP subcell: tetragonal, P 4/ mbm , =10.8686(2) A c =20.2051(3) A. Magnetic susceptibility studies suggest transition at ∼250 K canted antiferromagnetic structure. unit-cell consists ferromagnetic clusters corner-sharing units, antiferromagnetically aligned other within layers.
