The effect of target materials on the propagation of atmospheric-pressure plasma jets

摘要: The current study is focused on the effect of target materials (quartz plate, copper sheet, and quartz plate with a grounded sheet back) propagation atmospheric-pressure helium plasma jets. dynamics ionization waves (IWs) relative amount reactive oxygen species (OH O) in IW front were compared by using spatial temporal images optical emission spectroscopy. Our measurements show that targets can significantly affect intensity IWs. In addition, strong OH lines detected when IWs impinged upon damp surface. Numerical simulations have been carried out to explain experimental observation. velocity predicted simulation was good agreement results. Simulation results suggest density mainly depend electric field between high voltage electrode tip target.
