Does Head Orientation Influence 3D Facial Imaging? A Study on Accuracy and Precision of Stereophotogrammetric Acquisition.

摘要: This study investigates the reliability and precision of anthropometric measurements collected from 3D images acquired under different conditions head rotation. Various sources error were examined, equivalence between craniofacial data generated alternative positions was assessed. captures a mannequin obtained with stereophotogrammetric system (Face Shape MaxiLine). Image acquisition performed no rotations various pitch, roll, yaw angulations. Face Maxiline has sufficient accuracy for orthodontic surgical use. Precision not altered orientation, making simpler constrained critical as 2D photographs.
