摘要: Cryptococcosis is best known for meningeal involvement. Yet, this disease can be limited to the lungs only. Like most systemic mycoses, cryptococcosis probably enters body by inhalation. Why it should manifest more frequently as meningitis rather than lung remains a mystery. Although Sheppe (1) reported original case of primary pulmonary in 1924, subsequent reports have been infrequent. The present report adds four previously unreported cases and reviews English literature.
